Having graduated with a BA Honors Degree from The National Centre for Circus Arts, Jaide is a London based circus artist and variety performer specialising in the Cyr Wheel and currently a resident artist at Roundhouse Camden.
Ten years of competing internationally as an Elite Artistic Gymnast has seen Jaide perform live on stage with Katy B and Mark Ronson at the Olympic Torch Relay Finale Concert in front of 80,000 people, perform in Covent Garden for the Movie Premier of Barbie: Spy Squad, be in adverts for O2 mobile, Samsung and Google a well as featuring in the Move to the Beat 2012 Olympic documentary – to name only a few! Jaide’s performance style is described as contemporary circus with an urban edge.
On a personal level, her unique tomboy style and her voice in the LGBTQ+ community matches the current mood in fashion and its consumers; blurring the lines between mens and womenswear and undeniably reflecting the attitude towards gender identity and expression.
